How the A3 practice test works
This is the ASE A3 Manual Drive Train and Axles test in your browser: 40 questions drawn at random from 441 A3 practice questions, with 60 minutes for all of them, the scored length and time of the real test. Each question has four answers and one is right, and you can move between questions and change your answers until time runs out.
When time runs out, the test is submitted as it stands. You see your score and every question you missed, with its explanation. ASE publishes no fixed passing score, so this practice test counts 28 right answers out of 40 as a pass: you can miss 12.
What the A3 test covers

The real A3 test

You take it at a Prometric test center, or online at home or work if you're eligible, and you can show each question in Spanish beside the English.
